Psalms 139:16 Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them.
November 2024 Am Still Updating Final Edits
Writing has tried my patience in so many ways because when you are writing from a space of authentic originality that is directed by the Holy Spirit, you can’t just write because “you feel like writing” or because “everyone is writing” or “copy what others are writing”, you wait prayerfully and patiently on the Lord, you do the hard work on your own
Sometimes He visits me in the wee hours of the night and I begin to understand Psalms 45:1 My heart overflows with a good theme; I address my psalm to the King. My tongue is like the pen of a ready writer.
Yet, even being ready is not at my convenience or how I think “ready” should look like, all I know is that in the writing phase am always praying, “Holy Spirit, stay with me, I will not grieve you, only You keep me ready”
Then He speaks, He gives me Word, from the Holy Scriptures, and I begin to write sometimes none-stop and my alarm goes off and its time to hit the treadmill before I start my 9 -5 on the systems engineering architecture runway
Sometimes we read these words on the manuscript with my beloved friends and family and I always say to them, “I have nothing to do with this, even I could not come up with that, all I know is that the Holy Spirit empowers me to articulate my experiences”
A while back, I was invited to a VIP experience on Oprah’s tour, and Elizabeth Gilbert was one of the guests backstage, she shared with us what her writing journey was like for the masterpiece that she wrote for the entertainment industry in Hollywood, the timeless book “Eat, Pray, Love”
She shared how writers receive words to write classics, and for me I have received my Words from the Holy Spirit
Jeremiah 30:2 “This is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says: ‘Write in a book all the words I have spoken to you.

Latest Excerpts?
Somebody told me that a timeless manuscript is edited as many times as possible by experts and the author; So I am happy to receive feedback, encouragement, prayers and input. Those are the people we acknowledge in our books because they are genuinely part of our journeys and associated with our work.
