Esther Nkatha Gatuma is a tech career coach, mentor, keynote speaker, writer and inspirational story teller delivering high performing team strategies for workplace collaboration.
Her pursuit for tech for good service, inspired her to lead a volunteer woman in tech software engineering team to deliver tech tools and instruments that amplified the plight of child bride trafficking survivors in hard-to-reach remote locations of the world.
Esther is a subject matter expert that highlights the plight of the declining 26% of women who pursue and maintain a tech career in America. Her contribution in enabling and inspiring more women in tech inventor’s acquisition of patents to bridge the existing 13% of U.S invented IT patents awarded to women after 30 years of technology growth gap spans women in tech from diverse global populations.
Esther’s work has been featured on the Oprah Winfrey Show, ABC News, CBS News and named by the Guardian Newspaper (UK) as an African Woman to watch at position 14 out of Top 25 African Women making an impact in the
sub-sahara Africa and North America.
In the year 2018, Esther received her charter from the British Computer Society. She was invited by Her Majesty the former Queen of England Elizabeth II as a thought leadership advisory panel contributor to deliver strategic recommendations for the inclusion and empowerment of women in tech and enhance technology for good in 53 commonwealth countries.
She also received Governor Mike Beebe’s commendation for her tech for good accomplishments around the world.
Her volunteer work has earned her an opportunity to serve in the British Computer Society as a Technology Influence board member by merit.
In May 2024, she was named Tourism Good Will Ambassador For Israel by the Israeli Ministry of Tourism.
She serves as a diplomatic advocate highlights the plight of women and girls by volunteering to serve causes that enable the inclusion of more women in science and engineering careers.
